As head of her own firm and a partner in the Eldercare and Special Needs Law Center, Terri Hilliard Olson, Esq., draws upon her vast experience and easy communication style to help clients with asset protection, special needs trusts, elder care planning, family protection planning, estate and business succession planning, and general business formation and facilitation. She is also a private mediator assisting families, elders, individuals, and businesses in resolving disputes.

Terri Hilliard Olson became affiliated with Peterson & Bradford in 2009 to add to the firm's practice areas involving advanced estate and business succession planning, asset protection, special needs trusts, family protection planning, and general business formation and facilitation. She is also a private mediator for the community and specializes in helping families, elders, individuals and businesses resolve disputes. Terri Hilliard Olson i graduated from Loyola Law School in 1989, following a successful business practice as an Investment Advisor. She is an admitted member of all California State and Federal Courts, California State Bar, Wealth Counsel, Eldercare Mediators, Ventura County Bar Association, and Wealth Counsel. She is also active with the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce, Thousand Oaks-Westlake Chamber of Commerce, and American Business Women's Association, Westlake Business Networking International, Moorpark Morning Rotary and Senior Concerns in Thousand Oaks.

While Terri Hilliard Olson has expanded her law practice, she also finds time to actively participate in a wide variety of client and community service programs. In 2009, she was appointed to the Board of Directors of Senior Concerns where she will lend her expertise in eldercare estate planning and mediation as well as planned giving. She has sponsored seminars at the Goebel Center for seniors and their families in transition. In 2010, she was selected to serve on the Board of Pause4Kids, and education and advocacy non-profit supporting the needs of families with children who experience special needs and disabilities.

In 2012, she established the highly successful pro bono program, Legal Concerns at Senior Concerns providing seniors and caregivers in our community legal assistance to assist in preventing unnecessary Conservatorship and court intervention Since 2009, she has been a member of the Board of Directors for Senior Concerns, a private, non-profit organization providing memory day care, meals on wheels, education and advocacy to mature adults and their caregivers since 1975.

She volunteers with the Moorpark Morning Rotary. Terri Hilliard Olson also finds time to teach and lecture on Financial Challenges for Women, Special Needs Seminars for the Disabled and Special Needs community, Exit Strategies and Succession and Business planning for Professionals and Business owners. Since 2011, she has taught Trusts and Wills as a Professor of Law at the Southern California Institute of Law.
